From desk of chief editor
In these changing times, the work of the media has indeed become very challenging.
However, thanks to technology and various resources, we are able to make our work a little more effective.
We don’t mean to make any sweeping statements about the media, but please know that we strive to be on your side.
Journalists often put their lives on the line to bring you the most accurate and timely news, whether it’s breaking news or in-depth analysis, to help you gain a broader perspective.
You might agree that media plays a crucial role in documenting history. It provides you with knowledge through listening and reading, enabling you to better analyze information and form your own opinions.
Working in media comes with its ups and downs. Some people appreciate what we do, while others may not.
Please understand that we are simply fulfilling our moral duty, much like how you care for your family. You are part of our extended family too.
We strive to share information respectfully, without fear or bias, even though we receive daily threats from individuals around the world.
We’ve grown accustomed to this as part of our job, and we take feedback seriously to improve, but threats can have unintended consequences.
We humbly ask for your respect towards the media. If you come across something you don’t like, we kindly ask you to let it go and move on. Words can be powerful, and we hope to use them to inform and connect rather than harm or condemn.
Let’s foster a loving and understanding environment. Media’s purpose is not to harm but to share information. It’s perfectly healthy to agree to disagree, as it encourages open and constructive communication.
Please consider following us on FAF.ae. We dedicate 18 hours a day to our work to serve you as best as we can.
Remember, we are learning continuously too, ensuring we state facts before publishing.
Wishing you all a successful 2025 filled with grace and prosperity.
Thank you for being best reward for the day.
