The extreme cold has forced several changes to the traditional inaugural events:

Security and Attendance

Over 25,000 law enforcement and military personnel will provide security for the event. While 220,000 tickets were initially distributed, the indoor venue change will significantly reduce attendance capacity. The general public can still gather along Pennsylvania Avenue to view Trump’s motorcade after the ceremony.
