The extreme cold has forced several changes to the traditional inaugural events:
Swearing-in ceremony moved from the West Front of the Capitol to the Rotunda

Security and Attendance
Over 25,000 law enforcement and military personnel will provide security for the event. While 220,000 tickets were initially distributed, the indoor venue change will significantly reduce attendance capacity.
