Why did Kamala Harris loose US elections

Why did Kamala Harris loose US elections

Kamala Harris’s loss in the 2024 U.S. presidential election can be attributed to several key factors:
Campaign Strategy and Messaging
  1.    Lack of Clear Vision: Harris struggled to articulate a coherent message and vision for her presidency. Her campaign relied heavily on criticizing Trump rather than presenting a compelling alternative.
  2.    Failure to Distance from Biden: Harris didn’t effectively differentiate herself from the unpopular Biden administration, making it difficult for voters to see her as a distinct candidate.
  3.    Ineffective Policy Communication: She often floundered when challenged to deliver convincing summaries of her agenda on critical issues like the economy and immigration.

Kamala during her tenure was not given responsibility of the border.

Instead Biden put that on secretary of HHS and CBP. She was asked to focus on economy of three Latin American countries.

She had no convincing argument of failure in this end at no point whereas Trump has always been vocal about it.

Identity and Perception

Gender and Race: As a woman of color, Harris faced unique challenges related to persistent sexism and racism in American politics. No doubt it is the dark side of America. In history of America has always been divided by race, which may never change.

Further only two women fought election and both,  Hillary & Kamala , lost it.

’DEI Candidate” Perception: Some critics labeled her as a “diversity, equity, and inclusion” candidate, undermining her qualifications and achievements,  in white rural America in most swing states.

Policy Positions and Voter Alienation
Immigration Stance: Harris’s handling of immigration issues, particularly the border crisis, proved detrimental to her campaign. She had limited experience and no clear vision.

Foreign Policy: Her stance on the Israel-Gaza, Yemen and Iran conflict alienated progressives, Arab Americans, and Muslim voters.

Economic Policies: Harris failed to effectively communicate how her economic plans would benefit working-class Americans.

Campaign Execution. The election wad about inflation, poor economy and war.

Late Start: With only four months to prepare after Biden’s withdrawal, Harris struggled to build a cohesive campaign.

Interview Strategy: On August 24th, New York Times reported, Kamala avoided interview after being endorsed by Biden. That let Harris fell into a “doom loop” where declining ratings forced her into more interviews, further harming her standing. No doubt she won the Presidential debate on September 10th 2024 but damage was already done. She did invite Trump for second debate but he declined. Trump had a clear strategy all along to avoid debates and focus on rallies.

Reliance on Celebrities: Her campaign focused more on celebrity appearances than on Harris herself, failing to highlight her accomplishments, where -as trump brought Elon musk in front always, who is well respected businessman. Even in Trump victory speech he stated ‘Elon are you the one who would send aircraft to space in America for which Elon responded Trump I am the only one in world who can do this’

External Factors

  1.    Media Bias: Some argue that pro-Democrat media bias may have hurt the party in the polls by not providing balanced coverage.
  2.    Cultural Shift: A broader cultural shift towards right-wing populism and away from progressive “woke” issues may have worked against Harris.
  3.    Trump’s Resilience: Despite legal challenges, Trump successfully painted himself as a victim of political persecution, resonating with many voters.

conclusion

Harris’s campaign failed to overcome the challenges posed by her association with the Biden administration, her identity as a woman of color, and her inability to effectively communicate a compelling vision for the country. These factors, combined with external political and cultural shifts, contributed to her loss in the 2024 election.it is also believed no one want wars. He openly stated in his wining speech ’ I am here not to start a war but stop war’s.

Most Americans also dont want war. He openly in debate stated ’ I can stop Russia-Ukraine war with one phone call. It is also firmly believed he has the greatest potential to stop war against Israel and further attack from Iran.
