Is There Any Possible Solution to Rohingya and Rakhine Crisis? Solution

Rohingya crisis is deep rooted without any overnight solution to settle this Muslim minority community in Burma. Rohingya and Rakhine people are found creating insurgency in Burma (right now Myanmar).  The dispute is long lasting to force Burma and its neighboring nations to sit for finding better places to rehab these Rohingya Muslim refugees.  International organizations and advanced countries have demanded that Burma must not be stepfather to act.  However, till now, the tussle, tension and racial profiling in Arakan area are scaling up to threaten up people.

Background of Ethnic Clash in Myanmar –No Immediate Solution

Though the seeds of violence and insurgency were planted in1950 with the inception of RSO Rohingya Solidarity Organization to lead a small Mujahideen revolutionary group in different zones of Arakan, later the government of Burma smelled the presence of radicalism and terrorism in such a rebel community.  From the very beginning, Rohingya Muslim brothers  have been fighting for a separate identity to have legal power to participate in the national administration. Myanmar government didn’t support RSO and the struggle continued.  In between, top national newspapers in Myanmar suspected the nexus of Hay or Harakat al-Yakin, another local group, with the militancy outfit in ME. Meanwhile, another devastating incident irritated government to ban this regional ethnic community after the assassination of nine police officers in 2016.  Besides, Attullah Abu Ammar Jununi was blamed for this massacre. He founded Hay to start vandalism and anti national activities to endanger the government.  So,  Rohingya was slowly isolated from the main land of Burma.  However political deadlock seemed to expand because of the acceleration of bloodshed violence to claim over 100 lives in fighting.  In 2012, Rakhine and Rohingya people went out of control.

A  Rakhine Buddhist woman was first gang raped and then tortured.  It made Rakhine Buddhists angry and infuriated to attack Rohingya rebels.  A number of people died in this street fight.  Since then, Rohingya Muslims had to find better places for escaping after massive counter insurgency and invasion. Rakhine people get support from government to deport Muslims of Rohingya belt to different regions.  Rohingya Muslim refugees and asylum seekers were  seen going to Bangladesh,  Indonesia, Malaysia and Indian coastal areas as well for rehabilitation.  The sudden influx of Rohingya refugees to enter into the Cox Bazar of Bangladesh puts the country in Catch 22 situation.  Dhaka announced that these unwanted refugees must return to their homeland to claim their rights.    This infiltration will be burdensome to Bangladesh to tackle.

However, BGB and human rights commissions of Bangladesh stated that these nomads hired local smugglers to have fake passports for obtaining citizenship cards in Bangladesh.  Many of them had to leave for Beijing to have security.  The military escalation in Myanmar to oppress Rohingya rebels was a matter of brutality.  Over 20000 people were extinguished and gunned down in this combing operation. In the name of handling terrorists and insurgents, military  personnel killed innocent citizens. Houses and temples were burnt.  Children were thrown outside the houses.  Rape, pilferage and exploitation took place in this military exercise.  UNHCR and Amnesty  representatives expressed their sorrow over this blitz krieg mission.  There is no room to brew up the insurgency.  Therefore, Myanmar government must not be harsh to use the muscle power and administrative machinery to control refugees.  They must welcome  dissidents to sit with purposes of removing ethnical tension in Rakhine.

Positive Move of Myanmar –Appreciable to End Crisis in Arakan of Myanmar

ARSA is launching more relevant campaigns with their vision and objectives to help Rohingya people.  They need status, money, food, and education to live like others. Unfortunately, their voice doesn’t reach upscale society.  The minority community is neglected in Myanmar.  To resist these refugees, Bangladesh decides to block the borderline. India is not enthusiastic to give shelter to Roghingya asylum seekers who grow familiarity with different militancy outfits like ISIS and Hezbollah.  However, suggestions tips and feedbacks are being backfired by many think tanks.  The behavior of Myanmar seems to change with the appointment of Suu Kyi, a de-facto admin of Myanmar government. According to her, there must be a joint commission led by six members including Secretary General of United Nations for investigation. This advisory community will try its best to upgrade the lifestyle of Rohingya by giving more legal rights, education, financial aids and accommodation.  Besides,  the government will cross verify every possible ways to  issue the  ID/citizenship cards to underprivileged communities.

Conclusion

Lastly, Myanmar and other countries like Bangladesh have to design productive plans for negotiations to ensure the peace in Arakan area  If Rohingya people are not given opportunities to correct themselves peacefully; they must be misused by different terrorist outfits to destabilize the  world. It is a communal force and its severity will escalate in case the government of Myanmar is not active for inviting Rohingya brethren for solidarity, uniformity, and integrity. It is not a problem of a single country but the whole world must be pro-active to eliminate the components of riots, racial profiling and ill-force to let people be united in friendship.  Political gambling must be inhibited through mutual corresponding, table work and rounds of effective conversations with this neglected Muslim community. The ethnic cleansing program must be made successful through fair referendum empowering Rohingya Muslim members.
