Russia Blocks Black Sea - Montreux Convention Violated – NATO’s Presence for Maritime Security
After recovering the lost land by annexing Crimea from Ukraine, Putin has again shown his interest to increase the overseas vigilance in the “Black Sea. Russia will not go for any negotiation with NATO allied force regarding the settlement of Black Sea dispute. Cold War will create turmoil in the deep sea as Romania, Turkey, Bulgaria and Latvia have accelerated their coastal patrolling by sending more aircrafts, drones, and warships for monitoring. Moscow’s aggressive maneuver in this resourceful region has formed new fissure of mistrust, hypocrisy and tension in Black Sea region.
Russia Escalates Reconnaissance in Black Sea – NATO Nations Protest
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish president, has written an important official brief addressing the secretary general of NATO. In this footnote, he has blamed the unlawful encroachment of Russian warships in Black Sea. Slowly, this vital coastal area is going to the pocket of Moscow. Putin is not honoring Montreux Convention which has included main dominant powers like Romania, Bulgaria, USSR (after being split, Ukraine and Georgia) and Russia. Therefore, Putin should not neglect other littoral nations which have also authoritative power to control some portions of Black Sea.
Russia is not maintaining tranquility when its submarines and drones are found doing reconnaissance in Black Sea. Therefore, the conflict is becoming complicated and American jet planes are hovering over the sea for meticulous monitoring. Passage of Black Sea is being boiled in tension. The Secretary of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) reiterates that Moscow is crossing the marked borderline of NATO. Russian missiles are being powered to strike patrolling warships of NATO. On the other hand, Alexander Grushko, the Russian envoy, has recycled the same statement of Putin in different format. He has boldly stated that Black Sea can’t be possessed by non-maritime powers coming from Europe. Montreux Convention has not permitted other super powers to fight for land reclamation in Black Sea. Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey and Georgia have deployed fighter drones, warships and military for routine patrolling. However, Russia is observing that extra powers are trying to disturb Black Sea by increasing coastal drilling with escalation of military. It is not bearable.

Russia is moving smartly to do the regular patrolling exercises in Black Sea. Su-30SM Flankers, amphibious aerodynamic drones, and fleets of upgraded jet planes of Russia are seen conducting the reconnaissance. Russia is conscious as well as anxious about the presence of American warships, Bulgarian military and NATO’s submarines to track Russian military. Iskander M is an innovative missile of Russia. It is capable of hitting remote zones perfectly. Russia will use Iskander M to destroy American ships and NATO’s fast fighter jet planes. Putin is determined that Black Sea is the territory of Moscow. In this connection, America is boosting up NATO members to defy Moscow. The US opts for the complete maritime peace and security in Black Sea. White House won’t be passive in responding If Putin applies force to minimize the power of other maritime powers like Ukraine, Romania and Turkey. Jason Dunham has been directed to head towards Black Sea. Operation Atlantic Resolve will be hosted for denying anti/access (A2) resolution of Russia. Moscow has not delayed in making official announcement stating mindset of Russia regarding the movement of US 6th Fleet warship with long range ballistic missiles to affect the security of Black Sea. Russian Iskander M will cover Jason Dunham for destruction. Russian soldiers have also watched that US force is helocasting by air dropping trained American commandos on the small speed boats in the middle of tumultuous Black Sea. This surreptitious insertion of armed commandos in Black Sea has been tracked by Russian military. Fleets of amphibious drones with rocket launchers will be manned to destruct American vessels.
NATO Warsaw Summit Prioritizing Permanent Power Balance and Security in Black Sea
At NATO summit, Black Sea maritime conflict was analyzed by top brass and NATO members. General Secretary of North Atlantic Treaty Organization has explained the role of this organization to operate the Black Sea. Security and peace seem to be weakening in Black Sea due to the insurgency. Russian government should be soft and more pro-active to abide by the international law in the case of power distribution in this vast sea passage. Montreux Convention has empowered Georgia, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria to claim the legal dominance over the marked areas in Black Sea. Russia is not agreed to follow Montreux law. Therefore, the dispute is acceleration. In this 2016 Warsaw summit of NATO, the objective of the presence of allied force to mobilize the Sea Breeze military exercise was evaluated. NATO supports the permanent and equal power distribution to keep flawless security in vital coastal territory of Black Sea. Georgia and Romania sent delegates to meet secretary of NATO about the futuristic resolution to patrol in Black Sea. Mindia Janelidze, Defense Minister of Georgia applauded due to the prompt positive response from the side of Romania. He congratulated Romanian defense minister to approve the Euro Atlantic resolution for integrity and strong solidarity in Black Sea. Even NATO and Georgia package for reinforcing coastal security in the Black Sea.

NATO members and Moscow will have to reevaluate their interests and roles in manipulating the regions in Black Sea. Through compromises, the conflict in Black Sea can be permanently ended. Russia must not block the areas lawfully possessed by other maritime power holders like Turkey and Romania. NATO needs to continue communication with Russia to invent innovative mechanisms to handle the critical situation over Black Sea.
